Law and Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence by Police and Criminal Justice Systems

Artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping all sectors, including policing and criminal justice systems, raising serious concerns about privacy, fair trial rights, equality, and non-discrimination. As governments and institutions rely on AI-driven technologies, the need for robust regulatory frameworks that uphold human rights has become an urgent matter.

Our latest study ” Law and Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence by Police and Criminal Justice Systems” examines the current regulatory landscape across Europe by analysing existing frameworks in Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, and the UK.
