Short Update: UK Courts and Tribunals Services publishes practical guidance for court users on remote court hearings in England & Wales

On 8 April 2020, HMCTS published guidance on how to join telephone and video hearings for court users during the coronavirus outbreak. The guidance includes a step-by-step process covering how it is decided that the remote hearing will take place, preparation for the hearing, conduct during the hearing, any support required (e.g. an interpreter), what happens if you do not join the hearing, and post-hearing matters.
