The Spanish Judiciary Council issued a preliminary statement about possible future measures that may be adopted after the emergency measures are lifted in order to "catch up" the delays in court proceedings. In the criminal field, the measures include supressing intermediate appeals in procedural matters which do not affect the material grounds of the case, and allowing oral sentences in minor crimes to be video-recorded.
