Short Update: Police in Scotland given new powers to break up house parties

FT Admin - August 26, 2020 - COVID-19 Updates, Extended police powers

On Friday 28 August, new regulations are due to come into force in Scotland, which will allow police to break up and disperse large indoor gatherings in people's homes. Currently in Scotland, no more than eight people from a maximum of three different households are permitted to meet together indoors.
