Short Update: Juries in Scotland to watch criminal trials in cinemas

FT Admin - August 14, 2020 - COVID-19 Updates, Remote Justice

Juries in Scotland will watch criminal trials in cinemas to ensure the continuation of jury trials, while ensuring the safety of jurors. Everyone else, including the judge, prosecutor, and defendant will be based in the courtroom, and the cinema screen watched by the jury will be divided into four, so that they can observe the trial from multiple angles.
