Short Update: Italy releases statistics on fines issued for breaching lockdown laws

The Italian Ministry of Interior has released statistics on the number of fines issued for violating to lockdown laws. They reveal that over 300,000 individuals have been fined for failing to comply with laws to contain the coronavirus, and a further 100,000 have been denounced for failing to comply with ‘measures of the authority’.
