Short Update: Families of dead health workers take Ecuadorean Government to court

FT Admin - August 26, 2020 - COVID-19 Updates, Access to Justice

The families of doctors, nurses and other health professionals, who died as a result of contracting COVID-19 while working in public hospitals, are taking the Ecuadorean government to court. Legal representatives said that the basis of the claim is a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), which resulted in the health professionals contracting the virus.
