Short Update: Database in Brazil enables the public to see which courts of suspended deadlines due to COVID-19

FairTrialsAdmin - July 10, 2020 - COVID-19 Updates, Delayed or accelerated proceedings

The Brazilian National Council of Justice has published a nationwide database to inform the public on the current status of courts. The database allows people to easily identify which courts have suspended court deadlines due to COVID-19 and which are operating as usual. Court activities have been resuming gradually since June 15, subject to the verification of the sanitary and public health conditions in the court. Virtual proceedings have been proceeding normally since May 4.
