The Access to Justice Foundation and London Legal Support Trust are reported to have made an emergency appeal in order to preserve the legal advice industry. COVID-19 has increased the strain on the 'already fragile' sector. These organisations have explained that, unless immediate steps are taken, almost fifty percent of frontline legal advice agencies will be forced to close over the next two months to a year.
