Short Update: The Court of Justice of the European Union is set to resume hearings from 25 May

FairTrialsAdmin - April 30, 2020 - COVID-19 Updates, Court closures, Remote Justice

The Court of Justice has since 16 March 2020, established a modus operandi based on the widespread working from home. From 25 May, the widespread working from home will continue in principle, however, if conditions allow, hearings may once again be held during this period. The press release states that the resumption of hearings will be accompanied by the introduction of hygiene and social distancing protocols to ensure that the health of everyone involved in the organisation and conduct of hearings is protected.
