The UK’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has reviewed all prosecutions under coronavirus lockdown laws, and have decided to withdraw and overturn all of them on the basis that the charges were ‘incorrect’. The CPS stated that none of the prosecutions had related to potentially infectious people who refused to cooperate with the police or public health officers who were trying to get them tested for COVID-19.
