Tasos Theofilou

Tasos Theofilou is a journalist, researcher, and author specializing in criminal justice and prisons. He was imprisoned in Greece for five years (2012–2017) on a series of serious charges related to anti-terrorism legislation. He was eventually acquitted by the Court of Appeals.

His journalistic work focuses mainly on trials of social interest, issues related to prisons, and criminal justice in general. Tasos also conducts research on the history of Greek court reporting and prison reporting during the interwar period.
