December 12, 2018 - e-evidence
Download PDF

On 5 December 2018, Fair Trials wrote a letter together with 17 other civil society organisations to the Council of the European Union, urging Member States to seriously reconsider its draft for the general approach on the proposal for a regulation on European Production and Preservation Orders in criminal matters – also known as “e-evidence”. The letter highlights and gives examples of the “compromises” presented by the Austrian Presidency fail to solve the fundamental concerns of the “e-evidence” proposals. Read the letter above.
