Short Update: United Kingdom’s House of Lords discusses the impact of COVID-19 on prisoners

On 23 April 2020, members of the House of Lords asked the government to provide its assessment of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the prison population and offender rehabilitation programmes. The speakers during this discussion included the former chair of the Independent Advisory Panel on Deaths in Custody and the President of Unlock, the National Association of Ex-Prisoners.
