Sofia Lyall

Sofia works on the use of artificial intelligence, data and tech in the criminal justice system from the London office, including supporting on research, advocacy and movement-building. Before joining Fair Trials, Sofia gained experience researching and investigating discriminatory uses of data and algorithms by police, criminal justice authorities and private corporations, and has also worked with people in prison and leaving immigration detention. Sofia holds a BA in German and Italian from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Media Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London.
