Djana’s work at Fair Trials includes assisting on issues of pre-trial detention, digitalisation of justice and remedies for illegally obtained evidence. Before joining Fair Trials, Djana worked for the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina where she conducted trial monitoring, case analysis and project management with the purpose of strengthening the capacity of State judicial institutions to effectively prosecute war crimes. Previously, Djana interned at the Swedish Refugee Law Center in Gothenburg and the Embassy of Sweden in Sarajevo. Djana has also worked with a student organisation offering legal advice and information on Swedish immigration law to asylum seekers. She holds an LLM from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
