Defending the
Human Right
to a
Fair Trial

As a charity we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters to help hundreds of people each year.

Making a donation will help us continue to fight individual cases of injustice and campaign for fair trials across the globe.

You can make a one-off secure donation or set up a regular secure donation through JustGiving.

*For UK residents, a Gift Aid declaration is automatically included, so you can help us make the most of your donation.

You can also donate by post

Please make cheques payable to Fair Trials International and send to:

Fair Trials, 5 Castle Road, London, NW1 8PR

Through Gift Aid we can reclaim the tax on your donation (currently 25p for every £1 you give), making your donation go even further at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK tax-payer, please fill out the donation form below and return it to us with your cheque.

Leave a gift in your will.

Since it was first established in 1992, Fair Trials has helped thousands of people imprisoned in countries across the world. We have prevented many high-profile miscarriages of justice and helped people return home to their families and loved ones.

One way to help us continue this important work for years to come is to consider leaving a gift in your will. Every legacy we receive can have a significant impact on our work, offering a lifeline to many more people.

We recognise that this is a very personal matter, but, if you do have any further questions, a member of our team would be happy to discuss this with you on a confidential basis.

If you are interested in leaving a lasting gift, we have produced a short brochure on how you can help. You can download the leaflet here.

Donating your time

Like many other charities, Fair Trials draws on key support from volunteers to increase its impact.

We have regular internships available in the areas of legal and policy and campaigns and communications, to make sure that our volunteers have a structured opportunity to develop important skills and expertise for their future career. Please visit our vacancies page to find out more.

Volunteers are crucial to our work and integral to the team at Fair Trials.

We also rely on an engaged network of  legal volunteers around the world and are always looking for pro bono assistance in the following areas:

  • UK based lawyers with foreign qualifications
  • Qualified lawyers in other jurisdictions that would be keen to get involved
  • Professional translators and interpreters

Please contact us at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering for Fair Trials and contributing to our work. Additionally, please visit the vacancies page.
